Two Seasons In: Titans Continue to Build

Adelaide Titans FC have continued to establish themselves as a competitive force in Football SA’s State League 2, completing their second season in the competition in 2026.

After earning their place in State League 2 for the first time in 2025, the Titans made an immediate impact, finishing fifth in the South Conference with seven wins, four draws and 10 losses across a challenging 21-game campaign. It was a significant milestone for a club continuing to grow on and off the pitch. Highlights from that debut season included wins against established clubs such as Western Strikers, Noarlunga United, Adelaide Hills Hawks and Mt Barker FC.  Zach Allevi, our first and only federation captain, and longest-serving captain since the inception of the club, also was Runner Up in the FSA SL2 (South) Player of the Year.

The 2026 season brought another step up in the challenge, with the State League 2 South competition expanding to 10 teams and featuring a number of strong, established clubs. Despite the increased competition, the Titans continued to show their ability to compete, recording six victories throughout the campaign, including wins over Adelaide University, Mount Barker United, Adelaide Hills and Noarlunga United, demonstrating the quality and character within the squad.

Across two seasons, the Titans have now firmly established their place within State League 2 and gained valuable experience competing at a higher level of South Australian football.

More importantly, the progress of the State League program represents a key part of the club’s broader vision: developing players, creating pathways from junior football into senior football, and building a sustainable future for Adelaide Titans FC.

The journey is only beginning. With two seasons of State League experience now under their belt, the Titans can look forward with confidence, ambition and a determination to continue taking the next step.
